SGC discussed the creation of SGC Fest and passed a bill amending the Allocations Handbook during its April 1 meeting.
The tabled amendment resolved that there would be an $8,000 maximum per academic year allocated per organization for speakers.
During the meeting, the SGC senate voted in favor of separately voting on each individual amendment within the Allocations Handbook Reform bill.
The SGC officially used the remainder of its allocation funds during the Feb. 7 allocation meeting, and will not have a renewed budget until next semester.
Passing the onus of transparency from the governance body … to the individual student organizations is evasive and nonsensical.
