Ithaca College’s Deaf studies minor has been put on an administrative pause and is currently not accepting more students for the foreseeable future. The three ASL professors at the college are being laid off after the Fall 2025 semester.

Not everyone uses the same equipment or communication style that I do, so there’s no universal answer to making a classroom more accessible.
