New club looks to make a running start in its second season
The running club was started in Spring 2017 to give people a chance to run for fun and not at a competitive level. The club currently has 30 members.

Club sports have begun to fight for field space, so that practices and games can run on their own schedules.
Svante Myrick, mayor of the City of Ithaca, stopped by the VIC studio for an on-air interview at noon the following day.
Creating the schedules for both conference and nonconference games means looking at every variable to make sure there will be no future problems.
“We continue to work to build it beyond that now and to strengthen the annual fund through alumni support, parent support and support from friends of the college,” Biehn said.
Senior Brandy Smith is first outdoor track and field national champion in the college’s history and has won two national titles.
Women’s basketball hosts first round of NCAA tournament, track and field competes in ECAC championship and men’s lacrosse and women’s tennis are home.
The Ithaca College men’s tennis team defeated St. Lawrence University 8–1 while the women lost 7–2 in their home season opener.
The men’s tennis team lost to the University of Rochester 8–1 Feb. 19. Freshman Minos Stavrakas got the only win of the day for the Bombers.
The women’s swimming and diving team placed first in the UNYSCSA Championship for the fourth consecutive time, while the men’s team took home third.
The track and field and gymnastics teams are away while swimming and diving competes at home. Men’s tennis starts their season.
The Ithaca College swimming and diving teams competed in its last meet of the year at the Ithaca Invitational before competing in states.
