A section of Aurora Street/Danby Road near Ithaca College will be closed Feb. 6–7 while the City of Ithaca installs a new water service line.
Campus Advantage originally proposed the 11-story building in April 2015, but after a long revision process with members of city government, the company pulled out after being unable to strike an agreement with the property owner.

About 100 people from Ithaca participated in a 'die-in' on The Commons as a vigil for Eric Garner, who died in the chokehold of New York Police Department Officer Daniel Pantaleo.
