‘Saltburn’ delivers cinematically in a cruel tale of calculative lust

Barry Keoghan was cast as Joker in a deleted scene from Matt Reeves’s “The Batman” (2022). The timeline doesn’t line up, but you could still probably get away with calling this movie his audition tape for the role.

Review: Martin McDonagh returns with a brilliant dark comedy

Martin McDonagh’s “The Banshees of Inisherin" is able to capture Ireland through long, sweeping shots of green fields to the way characters interact.
“The Killing of a Sacred Deer” details Steven Murphey’s (Colin Farrell) relationship with Martin (Barry  Keoghan) and the damage it does to Steven’s wife Anna (Nicole Kidman). The film is a twisted, surreal thriller.

Review: Dreamlike drama is a disturbing triumph

Right before it becomes impossible to stomach, the film ends and the viewer walks out of the theater with their eyes wide and their body trembling.
