The faculty athletic mentor program was introduced in 2015 with an initial seven faculty athletic mentors. Now with 21 active mentors, the program looks to make sure every athlete knows academic resources are there for them.

Faculty athletic mentor program shines light on relationship between athletics and academics

The faculty athletic representative program has been active at Ithaca College for nine years and has quickly developed into a mainstay in the school’s relationship between athletics and academics.

Return of Blue Crew program looks to encourage student involvement

Ithaca College Athletics announced the return of the Blue Crew student rewards program on Jan. 31. This program brings together Ithaca College students, giving them an incentive to attend sporting events in return for points toward special prizes. 
Fabian was selected to receive the NYSATA memorial scholarship, a $2,000 stipend awarded by the New York State Athletic Trainer’s Association. The scholarship is gifted to an athletic training student annually for excellence in the field.

Baseball player earns award for academic efforts

Outside of its athletic caliber — earning back-to-back Liberty League titles in the past two seasons — the Ithaca College baseball team’s talents range far beyond the diamond. 
First-year quarterback Colin Schumm was forced to step into the starting role after graduate student quarterback A.J. Wingfield was injured against Union College. Schumm racked up a 4–2 record through six starts, only losing to ranked opponents.
