The college employed Sibson Consulting to conduct a survey to ask staff and faculty about their benefits packages.
In light of a protest held on Oct. 19 to rally community support behind the contingent faculty, the part time–faculty union and the full time contingent–faculty union have gone back to the negotiating table with the administration after an announcement earlier this month that negotiations would cease until they received a counterproposal.

Sarah Grunberg, a lecturer in the Department of Sociology, and Brody Burroughs, lecturer in the Department of Art, met with members of the administration Aug. 16 as part of ongoing negotiations about key contract provisions including benefits, wages and job security.
