Ithaca College has updated some of its COVID-19 protocols and is encouraging members of the campus community to get vaccinated for both the flu and COVID-19.

At the peak of the spike Aug. 25, the college’s online COVID-19 Tracking Dashboard reported 55 student cases, which exceeded Boothroyd Hall’s 40 isolation rooms.
Ithaca College is strongly encouraging campus community members to wear face coverings while indoors after an increase in positive COVID-19 cases.
The Tompkins County Sherrif’s Office said a suspicious person was reported on the Ithaca College campus at approximately 6 p.m. Sept. 6.

The Ithaca College Office of Public Safety and Emergency Management is investigating a rape in the third degree that reportedly occurred between 1:15 a.m.
Public Safety is investigating the report of a rape in the early morning of Jan. 22.
With 16 areas on campus cited by the Office of Civil Rights as not compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act standards, Ithaca College is currently working to resolve these issues.
