Ithaca College Student Activities Fund receives additional funds

The Ithaca College Student Activities Fund, which has been empty since Feb. 17, has received additional funds, according to an email sent to student organizations March 31.
Senior Joshua Couce, Class of 2015 senator, said there is a group of 10 senators, including himself, sophomore International Senator Marcell Fischler and sophomore Senator-at-Large Joshua Kelly, who have expressed their opposition to the executive board voting on the Appropriations Committee.

Senior Brandon Xing, vice president of business and finance said the Appropriations Committee thought it had about $21,000 in the budget, but a recalculation of the finances showed that only about $17,000 was remaining, and the committee had already committed about $19,000 to a number of student organizations.
