Junior Resident Assistant Isabella Sloan said residents waited outside for about 30 to 40 minutes before OPS said it was safe for them to go back inside. She said about 15 minutes after OPS evacuated students out of the building, the firefighters arrived.

Patrol Officer Ivan Cruz was on-site and said he could not confirm if the smoke originated from the laundry room. Cruz said the Office of Public Safety and Emergency Management moved all students out of the building and controlled the smoke while the fire department arrived.
IC Square and Emerson Suites in Campus Center were closed Feb. 10 due to the damage caused at the Feb. 9 concert.

During the concert, an officer from the Department of Public Safety came to the stage and said that the crowd jumping caused the floor to flex.
Cornell University Police received a call of bombs being placed in Law School, Goldwin Smith, Upson Hall and Kennedy Hall at 2:12 p.m.

BREAKING: Sexual assault reported in Emerson Hall

A sexual assault was reported in Emerson Hall Jan. 27.
Two cars crashed at the intersection of Alumni Street and Danby Road, across from the main entrance to Ithaca College. One person involved was a student at the college, who was driving a a silver Mercedes SUV that overturned in the crash.

Two cars collided around 3:45 p.m. Sept. 15 outside the main entrance of Ithaca College around resulting in one, occupied by an Ithaca College student, flipping on its side.

This morning, Ithaca College reported that junior Michael Clark was killed in a car accident yesterday evening. Three other students were injured in the crash.

Shots fired on South Plain Street

October 14, 2013
Members of the Ithaca Police Department responded to a report of shots fired around 7:04 p.m. in the area of the 400 block of West Green Street and located a 21-year-old male on South Plain Street who sustained a gunshot wound.

Breaking: Public Safety makes arrest in burglary case

September 17, 2013
The Office of Public Safety reported Tuesday morning that an arrest has been made in response to a burglary in Circle Apartments/Building 150 in August.
