No ongoing threat to campus after reported armed robbery

An armed robbery has been reported at a dormitory room in Terrace 3. The suspects fled the area. No one was injured in the robbery.

Residence director dies in on-campus residence

Michael Palumbo, residence director at Ithaca College, died in his on-campus apartment Nov. 7. Foul play is not suspected at this time.

Rev. Carsten Martensen, Catholic chaplain and director of campus ministry, stepped down after being accused of sexually abusing a minor in the 1970s.
An unknown person forced entry into SubConnection, located inside the Towers Concourse, between 4:40 and 7:14 a.m. and stole food and products.

The fire was caused by a junction box underground. The box controls some of the lights in U Lot.

BREAKING: Junction box causes fire in front of CNS

The fire was extinguished and the area in front of the CNS building was cleared for travel.
Two cars crashed at the intersection of Alumni Street and Danby Road, across from the main entrance to Ithaca College. One person involved was a student at the college, who was driving a a silver Mercedes SUV that overturned in the crash.

Two cars collided around 3:45 p.m. Sept. 15 outside the main entrance of Ithaca College around resulting in one, occupied by an Ithaca College student, flipping on its side.
After a water main break early this morning, the corner of South Aurora and Pleasant Streets is still blocked off from traffic.
