Sophomore trio serves up success for volleyball

They say two’s company and three’s a crowd, but when it comes to volleyball, three is the magic number. It’s the number of times a team can touch the ball during a rally, the number of sets needed to win a match and, if the sophomores of the Ithaca College volleyball team are anything to go by, the ideal number of players for a recruiting class.
Over the summer, Meghan Musnicki '05 became the oldest American women rower in Olympic history by competing with the U.S. women's eight at age 41. The average age for this year’s U.S. women’s eight is around 29.7 years old

From the Atlantic to Pacific, the Ithaca College women’s volleyball team comes to the Finger Lakes region from across the country. Only two players on the 2023 roster are from New York State, and only four from the Northeast.
