Baseball sweeps weekend series with Saints

The Ithaca College baseball team opened up its Liberty League season with a dominant home series sweep against the St. Lawrence University Saints on March 21-22. The Bombers excelled in both hitting and pitching, propelling them to 18-8, 18-9 and 11-1 victories. 
Senior left fielder Louis Fabbo follows through with his swing. In the first game, Fabbo reached 221 career hits, securing the top spot in Bombers' baseball history for most hits in a career.

The Ithaca College baseball team took on the Vassar College Brewers in the first two games of the Liberty League Crossover Series on May 3. However, with the Bombers’ bats catching fire, there will be no need for a third game, as the South Hill squad won the first game 11–1 and the second game 9–5 with the help of some late-game heroics.

On the afternoon of April 16, the Ithaca College baseball team took on the SUNY Oswego State Lakers in an out-of-conference matchup at Valesente Diamond at Freeman Field. The Lakers controlled the game from the first pitch and defeated the Bombers 11-6.
From, left senior third baseman Ethan Rothstein and sophomore pitcher Jack Colyer have big hopes for this season and aim to win the Liberty League for the third year in a row.

Baseball puts league championship chase into full swing

The Ithaca College baseball team came up short in the NCAA playoffs last year when they fell to the No. 4 Endicott College Gulls 12–10 and 7–3 in the NCAA Super Regional. The Bombers will be looking to rectify their early exit last year and go all the way to the World Series.
