Vote counts from the Spring 2023 Ithaca College Student Governance Council elections revealed that first-year student Matthew Williams — who was disqualified — beat the elected president by 83 votes.

This year, IC Democrats have resurfaced on the college’s political scene after being inactive during the 2013–14 academic year.
