The crew team held their annual fundraiser Row for Humanity Feb. 5 and raised about $20,000. Twenty-five percent of the funds will go towards Habitat for Humanity.
The familiar “Tom Rochon; no confidence” chant took a new form at POC at IC’s “Demands Walk-out” Dec. 11. POC at IC summoned Ithaca College President Tom Rochon to the stage at Free Speech Rock outside of Campus Center during a walk-out to hear a formal list of demands, with the crowd chanting: “Tom Rochon, resign.”
With 16 areas on campus cited by the Office of Civil Rights as not compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act standards, Ithaca College is currently working to resolve these issues.
In 20 years, Ithaca College could look drastically different. An indoor spine could connect the Center for Health Sciences to the Gannett Center. A large amphitheater may overlook the fountains and Cayuga Lake.
