Commentary: Faculty communication is vital to student success

I chose an answer that seemed obvious, yet critically important and cannot be emphasized enough: communicate with your students.
Weil, chief information officer of IT, said IT has eight goals for this academic year including a return to campus for IT, Canvas, outdoor wireless, residence hall wireless, the Center for Creative Technology, loaner laptops and accessing IT help.

The Student Governance Council (SGC) met with David Weil and Casey Kendall from Information Technology (IT) to go over goals for the academic year. 
Aug. 23 marked the official launch of Canvas for the campus community. The transition involved collaboration with multiple groups across campus, including students and faculty.

College community adjusts to the switch from Sakai to Canvas
