The Ithaca College women’s basketball team defeated the Skidmore College Thoroughbreds 52–49 on Senior Day Feb. 4 in the Ben Light Gymnasium.

Women’s basketball defeats Union on Cancer Awareness Night

It took more than 30 minutes, but the Ithaca College women’s basketball team found its groove in a 64–48 win over the Union College Dutchwomen on the team’s Cancer Awareness Night.
Senior guard Cara Volpe started all 29 games for the Bombers this season. Volpe averaged 9.2 points and 4.1 assists this season, helping the team to a 25–4 record.

The Ithaca College women's basketball team lost 73–71 in overtime in the NCAA Tournament Round of 32 against Springfield College on March 5.

Women’s basketball players bond at off-campus team house

The women's basketball team does not only foster its connection in Ben Light Gymnasium — the team has bonded at the off-campus house where three of the team’s seniors live.
The Liberty League announced Nov. 9 that it will be canceling winter athletic competition because of the COVID-19 pandemic. All of Ithaca College's winter sports will be affected by this decision, including wrestling and gymnastics, which are not sponsored by the league.
