The Student Health Insurance Plan costs $3,066 from Aug. 10 to Aug. 9, 2024. For incoming students attending the college in Spring 2024, the coverage will last from Jan. 1, 2024 to Aug. 9, 2024, but the cost of insurance for this time period has not been determined yet.

For the 2023–24 academic year, Ithaca College will be changing its Student Health Insurance Provider from MVP Health Care to Aetna Student Health.

Ithaca College will be partnering with the Cayuga Health System (CHS) for Student Health Services beginning Aug. 15. 
Ithaca College alum Emily Mallar ’03 works for the Cayuga Health System as the senior director of care transitions. Her team provided residents with resources for quarantining and receiving necessary healthcare. In February 2021, Mallar was named “Essential Worker of the Year” by the Tompkins County Chamber of Commerce.
