10th annual Cine con Cultura festival screens Latinx films across Ithaca community

As of Sept. 15, the 10th edition of Cine con Cultura began its premiere with screenings at viewing locations all over Ithaca. From Ithaca College’s very own Textor 102 to the big screens at Cinemapolis, the annual film festival screened just over a dozen new films from aspiring Latinx directors and screenwriters. 
The 2018 film “Too Late to Die Young” was screened as a part of Cine con Cultura Latin Film Festival on  Sept. 21 and 22 at Cornell Cinema. The festival celebrates Latino filmmakers and their contributions to the industry.

The film festival, Cine Con Cultura, features films produced in Latin American cultures. All 11 films are in Spanish or Portuguese. Tickets are $7.50 per film or $6 for seniors and students. Festival passes are $50 for all films and $40 for seniors and students. Select screenings will be shown for free.
