Campus improvement projects were started over the summer, but with national supply chain issues leading to delays of materials some projects remain unfinished.
As students return to campus for the fall semester, they will notice that Ithaca College looks different than when they left at the end of the spring semester.
“It’s not just a business,” Pichel said. “It’s also been a social experiment both for those of us behind the counter and those on the other side of the counter.”

Clinton Street and Prospect Street will be closed between South Cayuga Street and South Aurora Street until Sept. 18 for street construction and work, according to the City of Ithaca calendar of events.

The project, headed by L Enterprises, LLC in Horseheads, N.Y., will renovate a block on The Commons known as “Harold’s Square.” The project is currently under site review by the Planning and Development Board.
