Possible COVID-19 exposure announced at Lansing Target

The Tompkins County Health Department announced possible COVID-19 exposures at the Target at The Shops at Ithaca Mall.
In a Nov. 8 statement, Tompkins Cortland Community College announced that it will be going completely remote from Nov. 9 to 15. There are currently 11 positive cases, all of which are students.

TC3 holds weeklong remote instruction due to COVID-19 cluster

Tompkins Cortland Community College (TC3) has transitioned to remote learning for a week after a COVID-19 cluster was discovered.

The Tompkins County Health Department announced possible COVID-19 exposures at the Ithaca Ale House, Liquid State Brewing Company and Wegmans Oct. 16.

First Tompkins County resident dies of COVID-19

The elderly individual was admitted to Cayuga Medical Center Oct. 6 and died Oct. 12 due to coronavirus complications.
SUNY Cortland President Erik J. Bitterbaum announced Nov. 1 that in-person classes will not resume this semester after the university stopped in-person classes Oct. 5 because of a rise in COVID-19 cases on campus.

SUNY Cortland shifts to remote instruction for two weeks

The State University of New York at Cortland is transitioning to remote instruction for two weeks because of a rise in COVID-19 cases on campus.
Even though Ithaca College is remote for the semester, approximately 1,400 students, faculty and staff pass through the Athletics and Events Center every week to get tested for COVID-19.

Individual who accessed the IC campus tests positive for COVID-19

An individual who has accessed the Ithaca College campus has tested positive for COVID-19, according to the Tompkins County Health Department.  
The college has administered 5,466 tests and had seven positive cases as of Sept. 22, according to the dashboard. There are two active cases in isolation, and five have recovered and were released from isolation by the Tompkins County Health Department.

Cornell University has lowered its COVID-19 alert level to green, which means that cases are rare and transmission of the virus is controlled.

New positive COVID-19 case at IC, TC3 extends remote learning

A third member of the Ithaca College community tested positive for COVID-19 and TC3 has extended its remote learning period to Sept. 11.
