In reaction to four reports of drug-laced drinks and one report of sexual assault at events hosted by Cornell University fraternities, Cornell has suspended all fraternity parties and social events. The Ithaca Police Department and the Cornell University Police Department are currently investigating both reports.  

Cornell raises COVID-19 alert level after cluster identified

Cornell University changed its COVID-19 alert level from green to yellow, which means there is a low to moderate risk of transmission.
At around 10:30 p.m. the night of Monday, Feb. 21, an Ithaca College student was struck twice by airsoft pellets.

Students experience COVID-19 testing delays during move-in

A delay in COVID-19 test results led a group of Ithaca College students to have extended quarantines after returning to campus.
The National Weather Service issued a winter storm warning for South Central New York, which includes Tompkins, Cortland, Onondaga, Southern Cayuga, Schuyler, Seneca and Yates counties, Feb. 1.

Terrace 13 Testing Office and Friends 110 lab closed Feb. 2

The Ithaca College Terrace 13 (T13) Testing Office and the Friends 110 lab are both closed Feb. 2 due to inclement weather.

Ithaca City School District moves to remote instruction

Two Ithaca nursing home residents die from COVID-19

Two residents of Oak Hill Manor Nursing Home in Ithaca have died from COVID-19, and 52 others at the nursing home have tested positive.

Cornell raises COVID-19 alert level after increasing cases

Cornell University has changed its COVID-19 alert level from green to yellow.
Even though Ithaca College is remote for the semester, approximately 1,400 students, faculty and staff pass through the Athletics and Events Center every week to get tested for COVID-19.

IC offers COVID-19 testing for campus community members
