While vaccination is not a requirement anymore, the college is strongly encouraging the campus community to keep up with their COVID-19 vaccinations.

Faculty council discusses dean searches and new SGC bill

The Ithaca College Faculty Council discussed the dean searches and the possibility of a COVID-19 vaccine mandate for all college employees Oct. 5.
In April 2021, the college announced that all students must be vaccinated in order to return to campus for the fall semester. Students were required to submit their vaccination cards to the Hammond Health Center by July 19.

Student vaccination rate reaches over 99% for fall semester

Ithaca College has required students to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, resulting in over 99% of the student population being vaccinated. 
The college informed students this clinic will not be available for Fall 2022 because of the many locations in the community offering flu vaccines.

The Tompkins County Health Department (TCHD) will hold a COVID-19 vaccination clinic April 24 at the Shops at Ithaca Mall.
In an email sent to the campus community April 25, Rosanna Ferro, former vice president for Student Affairs and Campus Life, reminded students to act with caution and care when celebrating to ensure the health and safety of the community. One celebration, Kendall Day, is a tradition started in 2008 by students.
