Ithaca Mayor Svante Myrick asks IPD to monitor polling places

Mayor Svante Myrick has asked the Ithaca Police Department to patrol polling places in Ithaca on Election Day for the first time to prevent voter intimidation and voter fraud.
The City of Ithaca is discussing adjustments to the current paid-parking policy to alleviate the city’s $840,000 deficit.
