Anne Hogan joined Ithaca College as the inaugural dean of the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance (MTD) on Aug. 1. She most recently served at the University of Memphis in Memphis, Tennessee, as the dean of the College of Communication and Fine Arts.

Ivy Walz served as the interim dean of the School of Music during the 2021–22 academic year. In 2020, Walz stepped into an administrative role as assistant dean after former dean Karl Paulnack stepped down at the end of the 2019–20 academic year. 

Dean search finalists for the School of Music hold open sessions

Diane Gayeski, Dean of the Roy H. Park School of Communications and Karl Paulneck, Dean of the Music School will both step down from their positions at the end of the 2019-2020 academic year.
