Double major finalized for Park school and H&S departments

A new preapproved double major was finalized between the documentary studies program and three departments in the School of Humanities and Sciences (H&S).

Maria DiFrancesco, professor in the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures, will become the director of the Exploratory Program starting January 2020. She will be taking over the position from Elizabeth Bleicher, interim chair of the Department of Education and current director of the Exploratory Program.

The festival features 12 Latin American films. All the films are in Spanish or Portuguese, and will be showing at local venues. General admission is $8.50 and student/senior tickets are $6.00. The festival started on Sept. 19 and will end on Oct. 15.
