Dana Teaching Fellows — named after the Charles A. Dana Foundation for its financial contributions — are tenured or tenure-eligible professors at the college who are selected by the Center for Faculty Excellence.

Four Dana Teaching Fellows selected for the 2022-23 academic year

Four Dana Teaching Fellows were selected for Fall 2022 to further Ithaca College’s goals of being an exemplary institution for faculty, staff and student development.
The program was created by Dawn Pierce, associate professor in the Department of Music Performance, and is being designed and taught in collaboration with opera director Chuck Hudson. Hudson has worked around the world directing opera, designing opera programs, working with young performers and teaching opera skills, according to his website. 

Opera direction program to start at the college in January

Campus community reflects on passing of trombone professor

Members of the campus community are reflecting on the lasting legacy of Harold Reynolds, recently retired trombone professor, mentor and friend.
Reynolds’s death was announced to the campus community Aug. 30 through an Intercom post. Reynolds worked at the college for 33 years and served as the adviser for the Trombone Troupe, the college’s trombone choir.

Masters in music program eliminated due to APP
