Ithaca College to lower discount rate by 2028 as part of plan to decrease deficit

The Ithaca College Division of Finance and Administration hosted a Dollars and Sense presentation May 29. The session was open to faculty, staff and students to discuss the college's performance in fiscal year 2025 and the FY 2026 budget. To continue to combat the college’s financial deficit, the discount rate for first-year students will be dropped from 64% to 60% by FY 2028.

Ithaca College’s deficit projected to reduce by about $5M by end of FY24

Tim Downs, chief financial officer and vice president of finance and administration, updated the campus community on Ithaca College’s projected deficit and its capital priorities in the first ‘Dollars and Sense’ presentation of Spring 2024 on March 14. 
Gerald Hector, vice president of finance and administration, will leave Ithaca College in July to serve as the vice president for financial affairs at Cornell University.

Approved Ithaca College 2016–17 budget raises tuition and aid

The Ithaca College Board of Trustees has approved increases in the tuition, financial aid, salary pool and operating budget of the college during its February meeting.
