Normalizing donations to sources that are simply for self-fulfillment holds people back from being part of an actual change.

On Feb. 6, at 4:17 a.m., Türkiye and Syria were hit by four independent earthquakes — the worst of its kind in 80 years on this fault line.
Carolyn Tomaino is the interim coordinator of Friendship Donations Network. They partner with local restaurants and grocery stores to provide perishable, healthy foods for Ithaca Colleges food pantry and the Ithaca community.
