College should be a center for education and innovation. While this happens inside classrooms, learning has the potential to be limitless when there is an investment in relevant, accessible and large-scale programming.
The Ithaca College Division of Information Technology will host Educational Technology Day for the first time since 2019 on March 21. The regional conference will feature the latest advances in technology resources and services for primary, secondary and higher education.Â
Among the featured speakers is robotics activist and quadriplegic Henry Evans. He will make a digital appearance from his home in Palo Alto, California, through the use of Suitable Technologies’ BeamPro Smart Telepresence System — a new robotic video conferencing tool.
This is the first indication that the building houses the Ithaca Generator, a makerspace and collective that offers makers of all backgrounds the space, tools and community to create.
