On Mar. 23, Ithaca College hosted the annual Ed Tech Day. The event showcased a wide variety of new technology in the education field.
Among the featured speakers is robotics activist and quadriplegic Henry Evans. He will make a digital appearance from his home in Palo Alto, California, through the use of Suitable Technologies’ BeamPro Smart Telepresence System — a new robotic video conferencing tool.
This is the first indication that the building houses the Ithaca Generator, a makerspace and collective that offers makers of all backgrounds the space, tools and community to create.
