Derald Wing Sue presented on the topic of microaggressions and their occurrence in higher education as the keynote speaker at the college’s seventh annual Engaging Communities Luncheon March 8.

Food Frenzy, which has existed for roughly 10 years, is a charity event that incorporates foods from Sodexo and outside vendors to create an all-you-can-eat food buffet that costs a donation of $3. All donations from the event benefit the BackPack Program for The Food Bank of the Southern Tier.

Maura Cullen spoke to Ithaca College freshmen about the importance of “creating a culture and climate of care and respect” both on campus and throughout their everyday lives Sept. 9.
The college established its first chapter of the Tau Sigma National Honor Society in Fall 2014. The organization hosts events for transfer students at the college to get them better acquainted with one another and the school.
