The faculty athletic mentor program was introduced in 2015 with an initial seven faculty athletic mentors. Now with 21 active mentors, the program looks to make sure every athlete knows academic resources are there for them.

The faculty athletic representative program has been active at Ithaca College for nine years and has quickly developed into a mainstay in the school’s relationship between athletics and academics.

Mentor program shows signs of growth after two years

Two years in, the Faculty Athletic Mentor Program has grown to 24 of Ithaca College's 27 athletic teams.
