Melanie Stein, provost and senior vice president, announced that she will no longer stay at Faculty Council meetings after giving the provost’s report.
At the Nov. 15 Faculty Council meeting, the college’s Office of Admission announced that it is using social media data to place advertisements and the council discussed scheduling grid changes.
At the first faculty council meeting of the 2022-23 academic year, the council discussed ongoing issues from the 2021-22 academic year and future plans.
The end of the college’s COVID-19 mask mandate and shared governance were discussed. The council did not discuss the appointment of Cornish to president.

The Ithaca College Faculty Council met with Tim Downs, vice president of Finance and Administration and chief financial officer, and discussed the college’s financial status.
The Ithaca College Board of Trustees hosted a virtual discussion Oct. 25 on Zoom with the campus community to discuss the presidential search and students' mental health.
