Food donations could potentially improve food insecurity problems, which kills five to 13 people per minute.
In future events,  Eco-Reps representatives will meet the volunteers at the dining hall doors to be let in and show the process of packaging meals. 

Eco-Reps repackages leftover food for donations to nonprofit

Students can now go to the back of the Campus Center Dining Hall kitchen every Friday to repackage leftover food to donate.
Christopher Hanna, a senior developmental sociology major at Cornell University, argues that people across the world waste 1.3 billion tons of food per year, and that we need to focus more on this issue in society.
