Ithaca College women’s basketball team wins Liberty League title

The No. 23 Ithaca College women’s basketball team has won the 2022 Liberty League Championship. The Bombers defeated the St. Lawrence University Saints 70–58 Feb. 27 at Ben Light Gymnasium.
The Ithaca College womens basketball team defeated Union College 69–48 on Feb. 26. With the win, the Bombers advanced to the Liberty League championship.

Women’s basketball team ready to defend the conference title

It has been nearly two years since it has been on the court, but the Ithaca College women’s basketball team has its sights set on a “three-peat” as Liberty League champions.
The Liberty League announced Nov. 9 that it will be canceling winter athletic competition because of the COVID-19 pandemic. All of Ithaca Colleges winter sports will be affected by this decision, including wrestling and gymnastics, which are not sponsored by the league.
