College begins search for new VP of marketing and enrollment

Freshman Kelly Perkins studied in the School of Health Sciences and Human Performance preprofessional program. She died in a car accident March 4.

An Ithaca College student was killed in a car accident on the morning of March 4 while traveling on her way back to campus from her home.
Cornell University Police received a call of bombs being placed in Law School, Goldwin Smith, Upson Hall and Kennedy Hall at 2:12 p.m.

A car was stolen from an Ithaca College parking lot sometime between 7 and 7:30 p.m. Feb. 15.
The Ithaca College Office of Religious and Spiritual Life is working with Inner Harbor to provide grief resources for the campus community.

UPDATE: IC student apologizes for use of racial slur in video

Ithaca College has released a statement condemning racist language in a snapchat video published by a student.
The School of Americas Watch 2018 Border Encuentro hosted an “Overnight Vigil in Solidarity with the Refugee Caravan” on the Arizona side of the border Nov. 17. The vigil also included a die-in, which protested the deaths and disappearances of those who attempted to cross the southern border. The encuentro was held from Nov. 15 to 18 in Arizona and Mexico.

BREAKING: IC modern languages professor Richard Rainville dies

It was announced to the Ithaca College community that Richard Rainville, a lecturer in the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures, has died Nov. 9. 
Rev. James Touchton, chaplain of the Ithaca College Protestant Community, will resign from his position at the end of Fall 2018, according to a statement Touchton posted in an ICPC alumni Facebook page as well as an Intercom announcement posted Oct. 25.
