The event allowed the three elite athletes to share their experiences and advice regarding the pressures of high-level sports with a new generation of student-athletes.
Mental performance consultants at the college, who are professionally trained in athletic psychology, are largely aiding student-athletes in developing mental, life and self-regulatory skills.
Greg Shelley, associate professor in the Department of Exercise and Sport Sciences, is in charge of the Leadership Academy, which help athletes from all teams develop into better leaders and athletes.
