Softball looks to ignite young core in championship push

The Ithaca College softball team is adjusting to having a younger team this season. In spite of this, its high-powered hitting and new age pitching staff will look to get back to the promised land to dethrone a modern day Goliath.
After serving as the Ithaca College softball teams interim head coach for the 2023 season, Kelly Robichaud 16 as been promoted to the full time position.

Ithaca College announced May 25 that Kelly Robichaud ’16 has been named head coach of the college’s softball team.
After serving as the Ithaca College softball teams interim head coach for the 2023 season, Kelly Robichaud 16 as been promoted to the full time position.

Softball team swings for the fences under new head coach

After a season in which the Ithaca College softball team fell short in the Liberty League tournament, the team is looking to bring the Bombers their first conference championship since 2019. 
Senior infielder Julia Loffredo had two hits and a run batted in for the Bombers in the two-game series against Alfred University on April 12.

The Ithaca College softball team split a two-game series against the Alfred University Saxons in a doubleheader at Kostrinsky Field on April 12.

The Ithaca College softball team played its home season opener against SUNY Oneonta in a doubleheader at Kostrinsky Field Tuesday afternoon.
