I write a lot about relationships on this blog—but I mostly focus on what to look for, spotting negative behaviors, and expectations you should have.
I started this blog on the very first day of 2015—and 2015 has been quite a year.
Around this time last year, I realized that I was surrounded by several problematic, toxic people.
A few weeks ago, I was on the phone with my Dad we were talking about an altercation I’d gotten into with someone via Facebook on the importance of saying #BlackLivesMatter vs.
I think the theme of this week is going to be healthy relationships.
Last year I helped facilitate programs on healthy relationships for adults with developmental disabilities.
I mentioned a few posts back that I’ve been helping with a program called SPEAK as a part of my internship with The Advocacy Center.
This past Thursday I started facilitating a program called SPEAK, a prevention program for adults with developmental disabilities that focuses on education around consent and healthy relationships.
