The Ithaca College administration took a different approach to the biannual All-College Meeting on Aug. 18. Instead of the traditional meeting structure consisting of updates on the budget, enrollment data or upcoming initiatives, President Tom Rochon focused on two “commitments” to the campus community — diversity and inclusion, and shared governance.
The report of two rapes, which took place between August and October 2015 and appeared in the Feb. 4 Public Safety Log, has brought increased attention to Ithaca College’s policies for victims of sexual assault and harassment.
Brian Dickens has been chosen as the new vice president of human resources at Ithaca College. Dickens was officially named to the position Feb. 26. His responsibilities at the college will include overseeing benefits and compensation, payroll, and diversity and inclusion.
