Many Ithaca College honors students are having difficulty completing the honors program since it underwent structural changes in Fall 2013. Students say the new requirements are too complicated, numerous and restrictive.
With the addition of a new credit-accommodating theme, the college has designed its unique Integrative Core Curriculum program to help transfer students pick up where they left off.

IC 20/20 began its implementation in the 2012–13 academic year. Since then, several of its components have failed to accomplish many of their original goals.
The Ithaca College Adjunct Organizing Committee visited the Faculty Council on April 7 to ask members to sign a petition supporting unionization of part-time faculty.
As a second-year student, senior Laurence Welch will graduate with a bachelor’s degree in computer science in May 2015. He said he graduated from Bard High School Early College with a high school diploma and associate’s degree in liberal arts, which allowed him to enter the college with 64 credits and full completion of the liberal arts requirements.
