The Ithaca College Department of Intercollegiate Athletics announced April 25 that longtime head athletic trainer Michael Matheny will be retiring at the end of the 2023–24 academic year.

Richard N. Carmean ’60, co-founder of the Cortaca Jug, passed away May 23 at the age of 89, according to a statement from the college June 3.
Jeff Long, head coach of the men's lacrosse team and former assistant coach for the women's soccer team, announced his retirement June 1 after serving the program for 36 seasons.
