Active COVID-19 cases in Tompkins County fall below 100

As of March 3, there were 81 active cases, with 12 new cases reported the same day. Active cases have been under 100 for the last four days.

Services suspended at Ithaca Urgent Care due to COVID-19

Cayuga Health Systems (CHS) is suspending services at the Ithaca Urgent Care starting Feb. 15.
In reaction to four reports of drug-laced drinks and one report of sexual assault at events hosted by Cornell University fraternities, Cornell has suspended all fraternity parties and social events. The Ithaca Police Department and the Cornell University Police Department are currently investigating both reports.  

Cornell raises COVID-19 alert level after cluster identified

Cornell University changed its COVID-19 alert level from green to yellow, which means there is a low to moderate risk of transmission.

Health department announces new COVID-19 deaths

The Tompkins County Health Department announced more COVID-19-related deaths, bringing the total to 25 resident deaths in the county.

Possible COVID-19 exposure at BJ’s Wholesale Club
