Approximately 130 IC faculty will lose their jobs due to low enrollment, said La Jerne Cornish, provost and senior vice president for academic affairs.
La Jerne Cornish, provost and senior vice president for academic affairs, announced at the May 7 Faculty Council meeting that IC did not hit the target enrollment for the Class of 2023.
An outside consulting firm aiming to improve efficiency at Ithaca College should focus efforts on identifying ways to effectively attract and retain students.
Ithaca College has hired an outside company — Huron Consulting Group — to asses its finances. President Tom Rochon said the objective is to control the cost of tuition and room and board for students.
