Commentary: U.S. environmental GPA says it is crunch time

Things certainly seem to be crashing down in a very “end of semester” sort of fashion. And this feeling is further emphasized by the fast approaching “deadline” for environmental action.

Retail dining options on campus, such as IC Square, will use the rest of their plastic straw supplies until these run out, and will then only offer new compostable straws.  

Retail dining locations on campus switch to compostable straws

Ithaca College will no longer be purchasing plastic straws for its on-campus retail locations. Instead, the plastic straws will be replaced with compostable ones.
