While the Ithaca College men’s tennis team has the smallest roster out of the 11 varsity men’s teams at the college, it boasts the largest international student-athlete presence. Out of the nine players on their roster, three of them played high school tennis outside of the United States.

After a 2024 campaign that saw the Ithaca men’s tennis team qualify for the Liberty League Championship Tournament for the first time since the Spring 2019 season, the young squad is looking to continue to build success on the court, while also creating a new culture off the court.

Ivan Kisic, a first-year student-athlete on the Ithaca College men’s tennis team, exploded onto the scene when he took home the “B” Singles title at the St. Lawrence University Fall Classic on Sept. 8. No other Bomber has claimed a Singles title at this tournament since 2016, when Minos Stavrakas and Nathan Wolf respectively won the “A” and “C” Flights.
The 2023 Ithaca College men’s tennis team is hard at work pursuing what it hopes to be a prosperous season after individual and doubles success in the fall.
When not playing on the courts, the Ithaca College men’s and women’s tennis teams look for an edge in getting high school athletes to commit to the program.
The Ithaca College tennis programs were in the midst of their annual spring break trip when the 2020 season was canceled, ending the trip before the Bombers competed in their final match of the week.
