Gerard Turbide, vice president of enrollment management, said that the college developed the Ithaca College New York State Tuition Award to provide benefits to low-income families without the restrictions that come with many other state scholarship programs.

Ithaca College creates scholarship as alternate to state aid

The scholarship is worth up to $6,000 per year and will be available in Fall 2018 to incoming students from New York State who qualify for the Excelsior Scholarship.
