IC adds new subgroup to Return to Campus Task Force

Ithaca College has expanded the Return to Campus Task Force but has not yet released more details about the 2020–21 academic calendar.
In a March 25 announcement, the college stated that the Commencement ceremony for the Class of 2021 will be held May 21 for graduate students and May 23 for undergraduates in the Glazer Arena at the Athletics and Events Center.

The ceremony was scheduled to take place May 17, but after transitioning to remote learning March 17, the ceremony was postponed until Aug. 2.

IC 2020–21 academic calendar includes reduced breaks

The tentative Ithaca College 2020–21 academic calendar has been released and includes reduced breaks.
The virtual open-conversation session was led by David Lissy ’87, chair of the board of trustees, and James Nolan ’77, vice chair of the board of trustees. About 55 people attended the event.

The Ithaca College Board of Trustees held a meeting May 14–15 to discuss the impacts of COVID-19 on the 2020–21 budget and the upcoming academic year.

Ithaca College has canceled all on-campus classes and events for the months of June and July due to public health concerns regarding COVID-19.

Ithaca College will continue remote instruction for the remainder of the semester and commencement has been moved to Aug. 1 for the Class of 2020, according to a campus wide email sent March 17.
