Hayley Harris, vice president for human resources and planning at Ithaca College, will be departing the college soon, according to an email by the college.
Interim President La Jerne Cornish began the meeting by introducing the speakers and thanking faculty, staff and students for making the return to campus and in-person classes possible.

Senior Leadership Team updates IC at All-College Gathering

The Ithaca College Senior Leadership Team updated the college community at the All College Gathering on Feb. 1. 
The session included about 15 students, seven SLT members and seven members of the SGC divided among six tables to have small group discussions on what has gone well since returning to campus and what has not been effective. A similar event was held in January 2021 over zoom and attracted around 80 participants.

SLT gives updates at the State of the College gathering

The Ithaca College SLT gave updates regarding the college’s enrollment, finances and goals for the 2021–22 academic year at the State of the College gathering Oct. 5. 
The APP process began in September 2020 when Interim President La Jerne Cornish convened the Academic Program Prioritization Implementation Committee (APPIC) and the Academic Program Prioritization Advisory Committee (APPAC) and provided them with their tasks.

College moves forward with second phase of APP

Ithaca College is moving into the second phase of the Academic Program Prioritization process, which involves restructuring some academic programs.
The APPIC released the draft “Shape of the College” document Jan. 13, which recommended the elimination of 116 full-time equivalent (FTE) faculty positions and 26 major, department and program eliminations.
